By The Historical Society of Oak Park and River Forest.
This guide tells the stories of this historically important burying ground and some of the individuals interred there. Two self-guided tours, one on foot and one driving, lead to 45 different sites in the cemetery. Now combined under the Forest Home name, this cemetery is the final resting place for many of the founding families of Oak Park and River Forest, as well as people of national and international importance, including the Haymarket Martyrs, Emma Goldman, and Billy Sunday. First published by The Historical Society of Oak Park and River Forest in 1998 with a second printing in 2003.
